Hills residents with breathing difficulties should be contacted directly when a hazard reduction burn is planned that could affect them so they can take appropriate precautions, Member for Castle Hill Michael Richardson said today.

The Rees Labor Government has abandoned improvements to train services on the Carlingford line, deciding instead to concentrate on Epping which it describes as “a potential key destination for Carlingford residents”.

The Rees Government’s new rail timetables which start this week will mean commuters take up to 14 minutes longer to get from Beecroft or Cheltenham to the City than they do currently, Member for Castle Hill Michael Richardson revealed today.
